Evangelicalism could be, can be, should be, a force for good – the people described are Dispensationalists, who are a minority in, though a significant part of, Evangelicalism. The problem is Dispensationalism, not Evangelicalism; they are related, but not the same thing. Calvinists are Evangelicals, & very critical of Dispies.

as a ’self fullfilling’ prophecy, all that is required is believing that you are undertaking the will of God … to fulfill the prophecies events must be put in motion – the destruction comes, because the book of revelations states this must come to pass. and around the world, groups are working to fulfill this prophecy. mankind, brings it to pass. belief in the prophecies, brings this to pass. it is a blue print, guided by the astrological signs and omens.

The Bible was written by a variety of “men/women of faith”, whoever wrote Revelations was definitely on some kind of hallucinogen – it reminds me of “Alice in Wonderland”. I’ll be glad when 2012 is done and over with, but until then I’m afraid we have much to fear from the “Rapture Terrorists”.
