    Evangelicalism could be, can be, should be, a force for good – the people described are Dispensationalists, who are a minority in, though a significant part of, Evangelicalism. The problem is Dispensationalism, not Evangelicalism; they are related, but not the same thing. Calvinists are Evangelicals, & very critical of Dispies.

    Dispensationalism needs to be understood & not caricatured. Calling people “lunatics” lets them off *too easily*.

    @TheOrigionalArroyo i respect other peoples beliefs… i dont make fun of them… i try and debate them… if they belive something then they should be able to defend their belief… otherwise they are living a lie… hope and happiness is great, im happy because i belive we are reincarnated (i cant proove it so its a theory)… but when people tell me that atheists are ruining the country, or god hates this country i get a little angry at the ignorance… i never meant to offend

  3. TheOrigionalArroyo says:

    @wildboy789789 well then im glad for u. but please don’t go around making fun of people who believe in god or whatever. i mean who are you to deny them their hope, happiness and reasoning for the world, you know what i mean.

  4. wildboy789789 says:

    @imunfathomable i have an idea… if people vote for war, they should fight the war… its simple and fair… then all the religious idiots can die… the army should accept any age above 18, and female, male, straight, and gay… anyone that feels threatened should fight… thats why i live in america and ignore the draft :)

  5. wildboy789789 says:

    @TheOrigionalArroyo blessed by the spinning wheel of chance… which is why im here in the first place… no planning, just random luck :)

  6. TheOrigionalArroyo says:

    @wildboy789789 blessed by whom?

  7. wildboy789789 says:

    @TheOrigionalArroyo just because im blessed doesnt mean im blessed by god… have you ever played world of warcraft? you can get blessings from spells and potions… you can get a blessing from your spouses father… and in my case, im blessed that i grew up in a house where religion and superstition wernt tought as fact

  8. TheOrigionalArroyo says:

    i think that i have no right to judge these people for what they believe, just because i don’t agree with them does not mean i have the right to call them morons or idiots. Of coarse im not an arrogant asshole.

  9. TheOrigionalArroyo says:

    @wildboy789789 wait…what? how can you feel blessed when you are an atheist. Its an oxymoron.

  10. noxiscool says:

    We need a holy war… A war against these fucking lunatics!

  11. atryeu74 says:

    I think they should blow up the dome of the rock, and they should build a science museum over top of it.

  12. 34601k says:

    God is probably laughing at these idiots right now. Guys God is only full of love for his creations and he wouldn’t kill us. And if he would really destroy us then he don’t deserve our worship

  13. DRDNIBOY says:

    I as a Christian find the waiting for Armageddon folks really funny. The Jehovah witness actually would mark actual dates lol. I mean come on.. People should believe what they believe but mapping out your life as if its right around the corner and making other people do the same is really dangerous. And this stuff is not based in fact or even the bible.

  14. imunfathomable says:

    I strongly think we do need a holy war. but only religious individuals go to battle. this way they kill themselves off and we can be rid of these retards.

  15. aintisaword says:

    shockofgod made a video where he read a verse from the bible that said the anti-christ would come when everyone would have to have a symbol on their right hand and forehead. Then he looked at world news and it said that china proposed a world currency and he was like, “I think this is it guys, make sure and forward this video.” WTF!? How does that connect at all? Can someone please explain this shit?

  16. faecesmaster says:

    “israel is God’s timepeace” utter bollocks.

  17. LameCrippled says:

    Self-fulfilling prophecy indeed. With these many Fundies in the US and a rapid growing number in Asia, I won’t be surprise how WW3 will crop up in the middle-east.

    The difference? Christians will still be grounded on earth with billions dead and civilizations brought back a thousand years. After all that shit, I won’t be surprise how christians will still keep believing and hope for their rapture no matter what happens. With humanity’s arrogance and defiant idiocy, religion will never end.

  18. cleanhomer says:

    “Jesus will clean it all up anyway.” In church, we were taught that God is our father in heaven. Now, if God is all good, and he would be a good parent, and he gave us the earth as our room- as our bedroom, basically- wouldn’t he, as a good parent, tell us we need to CLEAN UP OUR ROOM!!??

    you seem to be under the impression that i am a RAPTURE FREAK … i dont believe in the rapture. certainly not in the way the bible has scantily presented it. i do believe that the human condition of war, has everything to do with power, control and genocide, and little to do with freeing anyone from democracy.
    i made a comment on a vid. I said what i believed was happening, with all of the ‘end of the world’ focus that this doc alludes to. i am not part of it

  20. findthelight2000 says:

    @susan196three “a new era of peace and enlightenment will find its way into the hearts and minds of people who are sick of war, sick of death, sick of hate”

    You don’t think I’m sick of those things too. War, Death, & Hate, are merely an ugly part of life. I don’t believe any generation of human ever lived without it in their life. God gave you life, I don’t think he’d appreciate it if you spent your time on Earth fearing life, and devoting yourself to instilling that fear in others.

  21. findthelight2000 says:

    @susan196three “groups are working to fulfill this prophecy. mankind, brings it to pass.”

    Right, these things will be carried out be people like you saying “Global Warming is a myth”, “Drill, Baby, Drill”, “Arm thyselves”, “let’s have a Holy War”, etc.

    I do not believe in the Evil God of the Fundamentalists and Evangelicals, and my God, Jesus, and Buddha would not be happy with the hateful and destructive work of those that believe as you do.

  22. susan196three says:

    @findthelight2000
    i am not the one that is misguided. the people who are running this show called the world, setting things in motion, are the ones who are misguided, because they believe they are fulfilling the word of God.

    I am just sitting back and watching it all fall apart, and hoping, and praying, that no matter what comes, that a new era of peace and enlightenment will find its way into the hearts and minds of people who are sick of war, sick of death, sick of hate

  23. findthelight2000 says:

    @susan196three You are dangerously misguided, my friend.

  24. susan196three says:

    @findthelight2000
    as a ’self fullfilling’ prophecy, all that is required is believing that you are undertaking the will of God … to fulfill the prophecies events must be put in motion – the destruction comes, because the book of revelations states this must come to pass. and around the world, groups are working to fulfill this prophecy. mankind, brings it to pass. belief in the prophecies, brings this to pass. it is a blue print, guided by the astrological signs and omens.

  25. findthelight2000 says:

    @susan196three The book of revelations is not clear, no one truly knows what it means. The Bible was written by a variety of “men/women of faith”, whoever wrote Revelations was definitely on some kind of hallucinogen – it reminds me of “Alice in Wonderland”. I’ll be glad when 2012 is done and over with, but until then I’m afraid we have much to fear from the “Rapture Terrorists”.
